Following a successful pilot in 2024, we are delighted to have secured funding to grow Family Volunteering Club: Abergavenny between April 2025 - March 2027!

We are now looking for a brilliant Local Coordinator to lead the programme.

  • Dates: April 2025 - March 2027 (24 months)

  • Freelance, fixed-term contract (with potential to extend, subject to funding)

  • Part-time, 18 hours a month, plus delivery of 1 - 2 volunteering sessions each month (each 90mins in duration)

  • Total project fee: £8,280 (see breakdown in job description pack)

  • Flexible hours - planning can be fitted around other work and any caring responsibilities, however some availability during ‘business hours’ is required to meet with local partners.

  • You must have availability to run one or two 90min pilot sessions each month, which could take place on Fridays, weekends or in school holidays, working around your own availability.

  • The role is subject to two professional references and a DBS check.

  • This role will be supported by an existing Local Coordinator (Support).

How to apply:

Please send your CV and a covering letter (no more than 1 A4 page) with information about yourself, your relevant experience and why you'd like to be part of the project to: maddy@familyvolunteeringclub.co.uk
