Trustees

We are delighted to introduce you to the founding Trustees for Family Volunteering Club.

Family Volunteering Club is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, charity no. 1205721

Kerry worked as a literary agent for 20 years before moving to the fundraising team at Hatch, a charity that supports underrepresented entrepreneurs to imagine, launch and grow businesses. As Philanthropy Manager, she works across Trusts and Foundations, Corporate Partnerships and Social Investment opportunities.

As Head of Community at Marks and Spencer, Jo has responsibility for M&S’ community and charity partnerships which engages customers and colleagues across 1000 stores and delivers over £8m funding each year to good causes. Prior to M&S, Jo was Executive Director with Business in the Community. She is a school Governor of The Boxing Academy in Hackney.

Katy is an experienced charity leader. She was the founding CEO for Babyzone, a start-up early years charity. Before that, Katy was the Head of South of England at Save the Children UK, and has led local and national children’s programmes at small and large charities for the past decade.

Birmingham born and raised, Salma is a passionate, active and responsible member of the community with extensive experience working in the civil society sector as a coordinator, campaigner and activist for organisations including; the Trussell Trust, Food Justice Network and Birmingham Fair Housing Campaign. Salma is also a qualified primary school teacher.

Jay completed a PhD in cell biology before embarking on a career in communications. She has more than a decade of experience and is currently Associate Director of External Affairs and Horizon Scanning at the Nuffield Council on Bioethics. She is passionate about creating accessible and engaging content that enhances understanding and drives change.
