This week, our Founder and CEO, Maddy Mills had the honour of visiting the Department for Culture, Media and Sport to meet Stephanie Peacock MP and other DCMS officials to discuss our work at FVC.

Maddy shared the charity's journey so far, the impact we are making and our ambitions for our future, highlighting why civic action at a young age is so important and the impact it can have on the children throughout their lives, adults who care for children and of course wider society.

"I truly believe that introducing children to volunteering early is a gateway to social responsibility, empathy, and active citizenship. By making community care easy, fun, and part of everyday family life, FVC helps build stronger, more connected communities across the UK." - Maddy Mills

We are humbled and deeply grateful to the Minister for her time, feedback and engagement with our work, as we continue to grow across the UK.
