We are so delighted to share that Family Volunteering Club has been granted charitable status, and is now a registered CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation).
This is a wonderful milestone in the project’s development, as we continue on our mission to remove barriers and make it easy and fun for children (and their grown ups!) to volunteer for important causes together, and to help to nurture the next generation of global citizens.
A huge thank you to our founding Trustees for coming on board to help us shape and deliver on our ambitious plans for the future.
We were also so grateful that off the back of being a finalist for the Stephen Lloyd Awards earlier this year, we were offered pro bono support with our CIO application from the lovely team at Bates Wells. Thank you in particular to Raabia Adil and Hannah Lyons for working with us on this.
