Season’s Greetings from Family Volunteering Club

This year has gone in the blink of an eyelid. Families came together - big hands and small - to plant, paint, bake, clean, craft and care, showing that volunteering really is for everyone.

Together, you helped make this year the best year possible and opened the door to even more impact in the year ahead.

From litter picks and food sharing to cards made with love and greener shared spaces, doing good together became a shared family habit.

We also reached some big milestones. We had a proud day at Parliament, where our young volunteers’ voices were heard and the impact of family volunteering was shared with ministers, partners and funders. We celebrated being finalists for a national Children and Young People’s Charity Award; a moment that belonged to every family, volunteer, partner and supporter involved.

This year also saw us grow, from the success of our Manchester pilot to opening new programmes in Glasgow, Cardiff, Wrexham and Conwy; reaching even more families and communities.

Thank you to every family volunteer, our charity partners, our dedicated staff, and the funders and grant-makers who made all of this possible (and to everyone who remembered the snacks).

Wishing all our families, partners, supporters and friends a warm winter break. We can’t wait to do more together in the year ahead.

We hope you'll enjoy our short film sharing just a few snippets from our year!
