Toys & Treats – Family Volunteering with the RSPCA

Join us for Toys & Treats, a fun and meaningful Family Volunteering session in partnership with the RSPCA. Families will work together to create toys and treats for animals currently in care, using simple, safe materials suitable for all ages. This hands-on experience gives children and adults the chance to support animal wellbeing while learning about kindness, responsibility, and the vital work of the RSPCA.

During the session, families will take part in 3–4 guided activities, including filling KONG treat balls for dogs and making enrichment items that help keep animals happy, stimulated, and healthy. All materials will be provided, and volunteers will be on hand to support families throughout the activities.

There will also be a short talk from the RSPCA Block Fen team, offering insight into their work and how the items created will be used, followed by a behind-the-scenes tour of parts of the centre. Refreshments will…
