About The Event
Join us for a heartwarming afternoon of community spirit! Families are invited to help prepare for The Big Community Lunch – a celebration of neighbours, friendship, and good food – then stay to enjoy the picnic together. This event is part of The Big Help Out and The Big Lunch – two national movements bringing millions of people together to volunteer, celebrate community, and build friendships.
What families will do (volunteering part):
Make table decorations – Get creative crafting colourful decorations to brighten the lunch tables.
Prepare simple food – Help chop, mix, and plate up dishes that everyone will enjoy.
Welcome guests – Be a friendly face at the door, helping attendees feel at home as they arrive.
