About The Event
Join us for a heartwarming morning of creativity and connection as we spread some summer joy to older members of our community!
Children and grown-ups will work together to decorate vibrant, summer-themed gift bags and fill them with "Cheer Packs" featuring nice treats like hand creams, puzzles, and refreshing teas. Families will also craft bright, handmade "Thinking of You" cards filled with kind messages to help combat loneliness.
This session is a beautiful, practical way for young children to practice empathy and care for an older generation. As always, we will begin our session with a welcome song and wrap up the morning with a story, snacks, and stickers!
