About The Event
Families are invited to help get the Abergavenny Community Centre garden ready for spring! Join us for a relaxed, hands-on session where children and grown-ups can dig, sow, and discover the joy of growing together.
Children will have the chance to sow seeds, learn about pond, bird and plant life cycles, and begin to understand how things grow and change over time. It's a wonderful opportunity for young children to connect with nature, get their hands dirty, and learn where our food comes from.
No experience needed – just bring your enthusiasm and clothes suitable for gardening!
About the Centre
Abergavenny Community Centre is a not-for-profit charity housed in a former infant school, saved by the community as a vibrant local hub . The outdoor space has been transformed from tarmac into a beautiful garden with raised beds, fruit trees, and wildlife areas, thanks to volunteers and Keep Wales Tidy…
