Signs of Summer: Garden Sign Painting at Railway Gardens with Green Squirrel

Join us at Railway Gardens for a wonderful morning of outdoor community volunteering in partnership with Green Squirrel! We will be helping their growing group stay organised by hand-painting beautiful wooden signs to label the community garden patches, allotment beds, and any other signs needed. Children and grown-ups will work together using bright, weather-proof paints to label and decorate the signs with colourful nature designs.

It's a fantastic, hands-on way for families to give back to a local green space and help the community grow. As always, we will begin our session with a fun welcome and wrap up the morning with a story, snacks, and stickers!

What families will do:

• Hand-paint wooden signs for community garden patches and allotment beds

• Use bright, weather-proof paints and Posca pens

• Decorate signs with colourful nature designs
