About The Event

To help us count down to the official launch of our "Read to the Beat" Summer Reading Challengeon 4th July, we are inviting Wrexham's creative families to the library for an exclusive pre‑launch preparation mission! We are building a brand‑new, interactive visual and sound trail through the library spaces, and we need your help to transform old, tatty books into gorgeous musical art displays before the big summer reveal.

From tiny toddlers to champion crafters, everyone can take part. By lending a hand, you will help Wrexham Library staff rescue old, unreadable books and upcycle them into beautiful 3D musical instruments and rhythmic decorations. You'll be diving into the world of paper‑folding art and helping us set the stage early for a summer of musical reading magic.
