Past event - Making warm winter bug homes! At Roots and Shoots

We will be collecting natural materials from the Wild Garden to make warm winter homes for all the different types of bees and insects that live here, helping our bugs be as snug as they can! While helping the insects, they'll also be playing some games, singing some songs and taking part in storytelling under the oak tree.

Roots and Shoots is a charity with a 40 year legacy of delivering training to vulnerable people while developing its beautiful landmark site in Kennington as a haven for people and biodiversity. From a derelict site with a basic building in 1982, Roots and Shoots has grown to become a well established training organisation and an important London garden.
