Past event - Intergenerational planting! with The Red Shed

Join us for a wonderful morning spending time gardening with older members of The Red Shed as together we create and plant themed herb plant pots - from pizza to roast dinner herbs! These will be sold at the Open Day to raise valuable funds for The Red Shed.

The Red Shed is a project providing horticultural therapy for people living with dementia and their carers, with the aim to improve and enhance physical and mental health, well being and alleviate loneliness and isolation.

Useful info:

- This session is taking place outdoors and hand sanitizer will be available. You are kindly asked not to attend if you or any of your household are displaying symptoms of coronavirus.

- The session is most suitable for ages 2+ but babes in slings / buggies are welcome too.

- Spaces are free, though spaces are limited. Please book in advance.

- When booking please select one space per person (whether adult or child).

- All children must be accompanied by an adult.

- Equipment will be provided but please wear clothes suitable for getting dirty, and please dress for the weather.

- This session is part of our Stevenage pilot programme, kindly supported by Stevenage Community Trust.
