Past event - Festive bird feeders with Roots & Shoots

Join us for a fun-filled session as we make bird feeders for our feathered friends who live at (and visit!) Roots and Shoots this winter. We will make feeders to keep in the garden, encouraging wildlife to thrive at Roots and Shoots, as well as the opportunity to make one to take home.

Roots and Shoots provides vocational training for young people from the inner city, mainly from the London boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark. Alongside this training they involve local schools and the wider community by establishing our site as an important green space for urban biodiversity.    

Useful information: 

- This session is taking place outdoors and hand sanitizer will be available. You are kindly asked not to attend if you or any of your household are displaying, or you have been in contact with anyone with symptoms of coronavirus. 

- The session is most suitable for ages 2+ but babes in slings / buggies are welcome too. 

- Spaces are free, though spaces are limited. Please book in advance. 

- When booking please select one space per person (whether adult or child). 

- All children must be accompanied by an adult. 

- Equipment will be provided but please wear clothes suitable for getting dirty!
