Past event - Daffodil and Tulip planting! At Roots and Shoots

Join us for a fun-filled morning helping at Roots and Shoots. We will be planting spring bulbs including daffodils and tulips, ready for pollinating insects to have food in early 2025, and collecting leaves for mulch. We will also be  learning about the cycle of nutrients and soil health in a simple, fun and practical way. 

Roots and Shoots is a charity with a 40-year legacy of delivering training to vulnerable people while developing its beautiful landmark site in Kennington as a haven for people and biodiversity. From a derelict site with a basic building in 1982, Roots and Shoots has grown to become a well-established training organisation and an important London garden.
