About The Event
On 5th October we are coming together to celebrate National Teachers’ Day and give back to the amazing local teachers in our community. We will be doing this at The Red Shed who provide garden activites to benefit people living with dementia.
Together with the members from the Red Shed we will plant winter bulbs in individual pots and decorate the pots with love to create unique, heartfelt gifts. These can then be presented to our wonderful teachers the following day by our lovely volunteers. October is a great time to get digging and planting our winter bulbs. We will be also be helping out in the Red Shed allotment to make the area look amazing for people living with dementia.
