About The Event
Come together for a magical family experience that combines creativity, care for nature, and a sense of community! At Fairlands Valley Park, we’re inviting families to take part in a special hands-on session to build and decorate bat boxes - giving our local bat species a safe place to rest and hide during the day.
Located in Stevenage's heart, Fairlands Valley Park spans 120 acres of parkland, offering extensive leisure facilities including water sports like sailing and kayaking on the Main Lake, a comprehensive play area for all ages, and a diverse habitat supporting a range of wildlife, including Hertfordshire's only Great Green Bush Cricket colony.
