Join us for a fun-filled morning as we help out by harvesting orchard fruit on the farm! We’ll be picking lots of apples before feeding the windfall and damaged apples to the pigs afterwards.

About The Event

Join us for a fun-filled morning as we help out by harvesting orchard fruit on the farm! We’ll be picking lots of apples before feeding the windfall and damaged apples to the pigs afterwards.

Stay afterwards to see the guinea pig village, goat playground and new sensory herb garden at the Farm!

Church Farm, Ardeley is a not-for-profit farming, food, care and education farm. They aim to enhance the countryside, provide people with special needs the opportunity to learn and grow, conserve wildlife and farm ecologically.

How to find us, if you are running late for the session:

Head down to the Vicarage field at the end of the car park, turn right after the turkeys and carry them onto the path past all the pigs the orchard gate is at the very end of that path.

Please read this important information before booking:

 - The session will take place a 10-minute walk away from the entrance, so please arrive as promptly as possible so we can walk across together. If you are running late, please see below for instructions on where to go. 

- This session is taking place outdoors and hand sanitiser will be available. You are kindly asked not to attend if you or any of your household are displaying symptoms of coronavirus. 

- The session is most suitable for ages 2+ but babes in slings/buggies are welcome too.

- Spaces are free, though limited. Please book in advance. 

- When booking please select one space per person (whether adult or child).

- All children must be accompanied by an adult with a maximum of 2 children per adult.

- Equipment will be provided but please wear clothes suitable for getting dirty, and please dress for the weather. 

- If you know in advance you are no longer able to attend, please let us know so we can release your places to people on the waiting list.

- This session is part of our Stevenage programme.
