Decorate bird houses, roll seed balls, and bring nature to life! Families will give feathered friends a safe place to nest and make seed balls to feed the birds. A fun, creative way for children to learn about wildlife and help nature thrive.

Time & Location
25 May 2026, 10:00 – 11:30
Girlguiding Hall, Park Ave, Abergavenny NP7 5SG, UK
About The Event
Join us for a hands-on family session where creativity meets conservation! Families will work together to decorate pre-made bird houses, giving our feathered friends a safe and colourful place to nest. Then, it's time to get a little messy rolling seed balls – packed with bird-friendly seeds – to help feed the birds in your own garden or local green space.
Along the way, children will learn fun facts about local bird species, why nesting sites matter, and how small actions can make a big difference for nature. It's a wonderful way to spend time outdoors, get creative, and play a small part in helping wildlife thrive.
All materials will be provided – just bring your enthusiasm and a love for nature!
