About The Event
Families will join a fun-filled volunteer gardening session at Roots and Shoots. Little ones can dig, plant, water, and explore - with plenty of messy, muddy joy. Parents and children will work side by side to help Roots and Shoots' garden thrive, whilst learning about nature and caring for living things. This session is part of a special programme celebrating The Big Help Out, which is taking place from 5 - 8 June 2026.

Roots and Shoots is a charity with a 40-year legacy of delivering training to vulnerable people while developing its beautiful landmark site in Kennington as a haven for both people and biodiversity.
