About The Event
RSPB Conwy is delighted to host a family volunteering session in partnership with the Family Volunteering Club, focused on hands-on conservation and wildlife engagement.
This practical session centres on a nest box building workshop, where families can collaborate to create vital nesting spaces for local bird populations. The nest boxes will be installed within the RSPB Conwy reserve, directly contributing to the conservation of breeding birds in the area. Following the workshop, participants are invited to join a guided tour of the nature reserve, concluding with a pond dipping activity that offers an interactive introduction to freshwater ecology.
This session provides an excellent opportunity for families to engage with nature, learn about local biodiversity, and make a tangible contribution to the reserve's conservation work.
