Den Builders & Nature Helpers: Woodland Conservation with The Wildlife Trust

Join us for a fun and rewarding family volunteering session with The Wildlife Trust, where we'll be helping to care for a local woodland while enjoying time together in nature. Families will assist with practical conservation tasks, using secateurs to carefully trim back overgrown shrubs and vegetation to help keep footpaths clear and accessible for visitors. Nothing will go to waste, as the cuttings will be collected and used as kindling, making this a sustainable way to manage the woodland.

After helping with the conservation work, families will have the opportunity to get creative and work together to build woodland dens using natural materials found on site. It's a great chance for children to explore, learn about the natural environment, and develop teamwork skills while having fun outdoors.
