About The Event
Join us for a creative and meaningful family volunteering session in partnership with Mirus. Children and grown-ups will work together to transform recycled crisp packets into emergency blankets, which will be donated to people experiencing homelessness in Cardiff. Alongside this, families will create colourful artwork, write kind messages, and make friendship bracelets to include with the blankets - small gestures that can make a big difference. This hands-on session helps children learn about kindness, community, and caring for others in a practical and age-appropriate way. As always, we’ll begin with a song and finish with a story, snacks, and stickers.
Please note:
Travel/Parking/Access: Convenient parking for Canton Library (Cardiff) is available at the nearby Gray Street car park (CF11 9NE). The closest bus stop is Canton Chapter Arts Centre. There is ramp access to the front of the building through automatic doors.
