About The Event
Join us for a very special Family Volunteering Club session with the Community Pantry, where families will be helping to spread a little extra Christmas kindness and joy. The Community Pantry will be preparing a special Christmas dinner on Christmas Day for local people who live by themselves, giving them the opportunity to enjoy a lovely meal and some company on Christmas Day.
During our session, families will help to make the day extra special by decorating gift bags, creating Christmas cards and preparing a special gift for each person attending the Christmas dinner. This is a wonderful opportunity for children and adults to work together, get creative and think about how a small act of kindness can make a big difference to someone at Christmas.
Every bag, card and gift will be made with care and given to someone who may otherwise spend Christmas Day alone.
