About The Event
Little Explorers are invited to join our Wildlife Watch in the beautiful woodlands at Fairlands Valley for a morning of discovery, creativity, and outdoor fun!
Together, we'll head into the woods to discover what creepy crawlies we can find hiding under logs and among the leaves. After our mini-beast adventure, volunteers will have the chance to forage for natural materials – such as twigs, pine cones, and moss – to create their very own bug hotel using recycled tin cans.
The best part? Children will be able to take their creations home to help support insects in their own gardens!
During our adventure around the woods, our little volunteers will also help care for nature by picking up any litter they find along the way (using child-friendly mini litter picks). It's a wonderful way to introduce young children to the importance of looking after our environment.
