About The Event
Volunteering together as a family has never been so creative! Join us at Creative Hands Foundation in Manchester for Weave a Little Kindness, a hands-on volunteering session where children and their grown-ups can make a real difference in their community.
During this session, young volunteers will learn the traditional craft of weaving wool fans, guided by skilled artisans. As they weave, they'll be encouraged to write a personal kindness note to accompany their creation. But the volunteering doesn't stop there – every fan made will be collected and donated to a local foodbank, bringing warmth, colour, and a message of hope to families facing difficult times.
This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce children to the value of giving back, all while having fun and getting crafty. No experience needed – just a willingness to help and a caring heart.
