About The Event
We’re kicking off our volunteering adventure by helping to protect our local streams with a litter pick at Stanborough Lakes. Children will love exploring the area while doing their bit for the environment – let’s see how many bags of rubbish we can collect this time!
After our clean-up mission, we’ll head off on an exciting adventure with the Wildlife Trust, venturing into the streams to discover first-hand the creatures we are helping to protect. Have you ever wondered what’s lurking beneath the surface of a pond? You might even spot a froglet or two! Join us for stream dipping and uncover a hidden world full of incredible wildlife.
What you need to know:
Children and adults must wear wellies or old trainers – footwear will get wet.
Please bring a change of clothes/footwear for after the activity.
All litter picking equipment (grabbers, gloves, bags) and stream dipping nets will…
