About The Event
Join us for a nature-filled morning at Roots and Shoots, as we make wildflower seed balls with clay to green the neighbourhood, and do pond dipping to count aquatic critters like newts, tadpoles and dragonfly nymphs which helps monitor the health of their ponds. We will also do some plant watering, spot flowers in the garden and have storytime under the oak tree.
Roots and Shoots is a charity with a 40-year legacy of delivering training to vulnerable people while developing its beautiful landmark site in Kennington as a haven for people and biodiversity. From a derelict site with a basic building in 1982, Roots and Shoots has grown to become a well-established training organisation and an important London garden.
