About The Event
Bring your little environmentalists to help Bodnant Gardens and the National Trust complete a Biodiversity Survey! Led by a National Trust professional, families will be completing a biodiversity survey which identifies and records the variety of plant, animal and insect life within a specific area. The survey will be used by ecologists, local council and scientists to monitor environmental trends and inform conservation management.
It's a scavenger hunt on a scientific level! Children will learn to spot and identify different species, understand why biodiversity matters, and discover how their observations contribute to real conservation work – directly helping the National Trust protect this special place.
