About The Event

Join us for a fun and buzzy morning as we help maintain the beautiful garden at Bee Urban - the location for Kennington's famous bee community! We will be sowing seeds, planting and watering the garden, as well as learning more about the bees that  live there.   

Bee Urban is a social enterprise that aims to work with communities to improve the environment for the benefit of us all. They focus on responsible urban beekeeping, horticulture and community growing.  

Useful information: 

- This session is taking place outdoors and hand sanitizer will be available. You are kindly asked not to attend if you or any of your household are displaying, or you have been in contact with anyone with symptoms of coronavirus. 

- The session is most suitable for ages 2+ but babes in slings / buggies are welcome too. 

- Spaces are free, though spaces are limited. Please book in advance. 

- When booking please select one space per person (whether adult or child). 

- All children must be accompanied by an adult. 

- Equipment will be provided but please wear clothes suitable for getting dirty! 

- This session is part of our Lambeth and Southwark 2022 programme kindly supported by the National Lottery Community Fund.
