Garden Party & Hobby Horse Race: A Royal Celebration at Southern House Care Home

Families are invited to Southern House Care Home for a special afternoon of celebration, connection, and community spirit – all in honour of His Majesty the King's Birthday.

Together, we'll prepare a cheerful garden party for residents to enjoy. Then, families will team up to make hobby horses – simple, playful creations using fabric, sticks, and a bit of imagination. Once the hobby horses are ready, children will take part in a fun, friendly race around the garden, with residents cheering them on.

After the race, everyone can relax and enjoy afternoon tea together – a chance to chat, share smiles, and celebrate across generations.
