About The Event
Come and be part of something special! Families are invited to Wyndford Locks Care Home for an intergenerational volunteering session where children and residents will work together in the home's café space to create decorations that will brighten the whole care home.
What we'll be doing:
Painting bee rocks – colourful little stones to hide or display
Planting sunflowers for the bees – helping nature while we craft
Making paper plate flowers and bees – cheerful decorations for around the care home
After all the crafting, we'll come together for an interactive storytime, using our handmade bee props to bring the story to life. Then we'll enjoy a snack together – a lovely chance to chat and connect across the generations.
