About The Event
Families are invited to a relaxing, creative morning at Tan y Ddraig Ceramic Café in the heart of Conwy. Together, we’ll sculpt and paint garden spike toppers – decorative clay pieces designed to sit on the tops of fence posts or garden stakes.
While we create, we’ll also take time to share our thoughts on how art activities affect our wellbeing – a gentle, reflective conversation about the joy of making and the importance of community.
Once the spikes are finished, dried, and fired (by the café), they will be donated to local community gardens, where they will add colour, character, and a handmade touch to shared green spaces. Your family’s artwork will be enjoyed by many – a lasting gift to the neighbourhood.
What families will do:
Use air‑dry or kiln‑fired clay to shape garden spike toppers
Paint them with cheerful colours and patterns
