About The Event
Join us for a fun morning as we put the garden to bed for the winter and prepare for the new year. We will be harvesting medlar fruits, planting bulbs and making a fun artwork from natural materials found in the garden.
Towards the end of the session we will sit under the great Oak tree share stories that celebrate nature’s quiet season - a joyful way for families to connect, play.
Roots and Shoots, a charity with over 40 years of experience supporting vulnerable people through hands-on learning, has transformed its Kennington site into a thriving green haven for people and wildlife alike. Come be part of the story as we help the garden settle in for winter.
